IMMIGRATION Although part of the European Union, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon has its own Immigration procedures and regulations. Upon arrival in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, visitors are required to have the following documents : Citizen from the European Union must provide a passport, which will be necessary during transit via Canada. Canadian citizens must provide either a valid passport or an official identification card with picture and proof of citizenship. Other nationalities must provide a valid passport and in some cases a visa will be required (depending on the nationality). Visas are required if Canadian, American or EU Citizens stay for more than 30 days. Make sure that any minor (under 18 years) either have their own valid passport or photo ID with a birth certificate or are registered on their parents’ documents. |
